About
Hi, I’m Morgan Day Cecil. Nice to meet you!
Wanna know what I’m here for? I’m here to help you fall more in love with your life. (And to keep exploring ways to falling more in love with my own).
I’m a pilgrim on pilgrimage for a wholehearted life of romance and adventure. And through this blog I invite you to join me.
So, how do we fall in love with life? We experience romance and adventure, daily. And I’m not talking about the fantasy kind of romance and adventure. I’m talking about the kind of romance and adventure that lets you know that your life is a very real epic story and you are the very real hero/heroine.
To let you know a little more about me, I’m a creative by trade. I do photography for a living, but I enjoy spending time in all sorts of creative and entrepreneurial pursuits. (My Dad is an inventor and a painter, so that’s where I get it). I am a Christian and I believe, like Philo of Alexandria that all of us are in the middle of a great battle, so please be kind to one another. Oh yes, I’m a former single mom who is now a grateful wife living a love story. I dream of living in Italy one day. But enough about me. (Here is My Life Manifesto if you are interested in hearing more).
I’m so glad you are here. Please stay awhile. I think you’ll find we share more in common than you think. If this is all resonating with you already, bookmark and RSS this baby right away. Sign up for the newsletter. There is no reason to let one more day go by where you feel as if you’ve lived another 24 hours stuck in a rut.
Good things are in store and you can feel at home. Email me at Morgan @ MorganDayCecil dot com. Connect with me on Twitter or Facebook. I’d love to hear from you.
Before you go, check out this post here. In it I share with you “starting confessions” that take an honest look at my own failures and fears. I think it will encourage you to believe that no matter where you are or where you have been, it doesn’t have to stop you from where you are meant to go.

She entered the world of social media in 2007 with the ModernSingleMomma blog. In 2008, Morgan founded the niche social network for single parents, iHeartSingleParents.com, and began contributing regularly to conversations about the role social media plays in community-building, business growth, and personal branding.
Morgan is now married to the love of her life– an amazing man who has adopted her son, Lucca, as his own. Her favorite times of day are in the morning, sharing coffee on the couch with her husband and anytime her son Lucca bursts out shouting, “How cool is that!?”
